Prepared Aluminum

The area in Northern Canada in permafrost is called Tundra. These images are inspired by that cold icy landscape; scarred by time and the heavy prevailing weather conditions.

They are like landscapes themselves though the source of the images is not so clear. The man made marks and weathered scratches seem to melt into a vision of the far north.
